Transforming Travel Touchpoints for Summer 2024

Having partnered with TUI for over 14 years, we’ve continuously refreshed their brochures for travellers across the UK, Europe, and Morocco. For Summer 2024, we faced an exciting challenge: to redesign the brochure and seat pocket to be more engaging and user-friendly for both passengers and crew.

Approach

Bringing the Holiday Experience to Life Onboard

Our goal was to make the in-flight journey feel like an extension of the vacation itself. To elevate the visual appeal and functionality of both the brochure and seat pocket, we brought together the creative minds of the Eat & Breathe and STM AGENCY teams.

Perfecting the Seat Pocket:

Eat & Breathe worked closely with TUI to develop the perfect seat pocket design, experimenting with various shapes, sizes, and finishes. After testing on board, we created a system where each piece of literature had its own designated place, with clear labels showing what was inside. This improved organisation helped passengers easily find what they needed and allowed crew members to quickly spot any missing materials.

Revamping Photography and Design:

Instead of retouching product photos against plain backgrounds, we embraced virtual production to shoot products with dynamic backdrops on digital screens. This allowed us to streamline production, eliminating the need for travel and enabling immediate adjustments. The new photography, combined with a refreshed layout and modular design, created a smoother, more engaging flow that adhered to TUI’s brand guidelines. The result? Stunning, vibrant visuals that captured the essence of the holiday spirit.

Outcome

A Partnership That Continues to Shine

The redesigned seat pocket enhanced the in-flight experience for both passengers and crew. At the same time, the innovative approach to the Summer 2024 brochure created vibrant, engaging materials that truly refreshed the overall look and feel. We’re already working on refining the next batch of seat pockets and are excited to continue collaborating with TUI to elevate their in-flight materials for years to come.
